OUR HISTORY

Rooted Since 1900

Founded in 1900 by faithful believers in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Lovely Hill Baptist Church has stood as a beacon of hope in Ridgeland for over a century. From humble beginnings under brush arbors and modest wooden walls, our congregation has grown — but our calling remains the same: to glorify God, love His people, and serve our community.

Generations of families have been baptized, married, and laid to rest in this sacred place. We carry their legacy forward with reverence and joy.
